Backorders and Restocks
Accepted Payment Methods
Arda Wigs Canada currently accepts payment with Visa, Master Card, American Express, debit Visa (when enabled by the customer), and Paypal. We do not accept pre-paid credit cards at this time.
Changing Payment Methods
Payment methods cannot be changed once an order is finalized. In order to use a different payment method, the original order must be cancelled. If your order has been shipped, we cannot cancel it, or change payment methods. To have your order cancelled, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org before your order has been shipped.
When paying with a credit card, your billing information must be exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. It is important that your postal code be correct, as our checkout uses this information for order validation. Please ensure you correctly submit your city/province/territory names and avoid using abbreviations unless that is how your information appears on your statement. Contact your financial institution if you need the exact billing address associated with your credit card.
If you attempt to place an order but receive an error in the cart, this may result in a “pending transaction” appearing on your online credit card statement. This means that your order was not completed or finalized with our store, and no funds have been received or collected by Arda Wigs Canada. This “pending transaction” should cancel/disappear from your statement within 1-2 weeks. We do not have control over this process, and cannot expedite it in any way. If you have any concerns, please contact us at email@example.com, with the email address and/or name used to place your order, and we will investigate further to the best of our ability.
A successfully placed order with Arda Wigs Canada will result in an order confirmation email being sent to you.
Paying with Paypal eCheck
With a PayPal account, you can choose to pay with your credit card, debit card, bank account (the eCheck), or PayPal account balance, for any purchase you make. Paypal transactions are done externally, in Paypal's secure network.
One method of payment through Paypal is an eCheck. An eCheck is an electronic payment funded by the buyer’s bank account, and functions like a physical cheque would. An eCheck must clear the bank before it’s credited to the recipient. It usually takes up to 6 business days for an eCheck to clear and the money to appear in the recipient’s PayPal account. We do not have control over this process, and cannot expedite it in any way.
Arda Wigs Canada will not ship out orders paid by eCheck until the payment is approved. Your order will still be picked sequentially as normal, but will be held from shipment until confirmation from Paypal. If the payment is declined, the items in your order will be returned to stock.
If you would like to cancel an order that used an eCheck as the payment method, we can do so, but we've learned from experience that it's best to wait for the eCheck process to finish before doing so. In the past when we have refunded an order before the eCheck cleared, the funds took significantly longer to return to the customer. Essentially, the order is awaiting confirmation from the bank on whether or not the eCheck is valid. If we cancel the order before this process completes, the automated communication will have nowhere to send this information/payment to since the original destination no longer exists, and the funds will sort of "float in limbo" while it tries to figure out where it needs to go before being returned to your account. There's no way of knowing how long it will take to do so, and we have no control over this process.
Using Gift Cards and Discount Codes
Arda Wigs Canada offers Gift Cards for our store, in a variety of denominations. Gift Cards are not a physical item. They are a randomized 16 digit code, sent electronically after your order confirmation in a separate email. These Gift Cards are legal tender, and do not expire. Arda Wigs Canada does not sell physical versions of Gift Cards. Gift Cards purchased through Arda Wigs Canada can only be redeemed at ardawigscanada.ca. We will not exchange these cards for Gift Cards at arda-wigs.com. Gift Cards are provided in Canadian dollars.
Gift Cards are not “Discount/Coupon Codes”, and can be used in combination with other offers.
Discount/Coupon Codes are redeemed in the checkout. Only one (1) Discount/Coupon Code may be used per transaction, and cannot be combined with other offers/codes. Codes may be offered through sales/promotions from Arda Wigs Canada’s site or newsletter, through sponsored affiliates, or generated by the customer redeeming “Maple Coins” (our loyalty program). Discount/Coupon Codes, whether they are for a certain percentage or for a dollar value, are not legal tender, and do not have cash value. Discount/Coupon Codes provided by Arda Wigs Canada/an affiliate will expire.
Discount/Coupon Codes cannot be used to purchase or offset the cost of purchasing a Gift Card. This is a system limitation outside of our control. If your order includes a Gift Card as well as other physical items, your Discount/Coupon Code will apply to the physical items in your order and not to the Gift Card.
Redeeming and Using Maple Coins
Arda Wigs Canada offers a free-to-join loyalty program for all customers called “Maple Coins”. To qualify, you must have an active account with Arda Wigs Canada. All active account holders automatically earn coins.
Maple Coins can be redeemed for a $5 or a $10 voucher. This voucher is generated as a unique Discount Code, and acts the same as a Discount/Coupon Code. Maple Coins vouchers are not automatically applied to your order. You must input the code to the discount section of the checkout.
Because Maple Coins codes are created as Discount/Coupon Codes, they do not have financial value and are not legal tender. Multiple Maple Coins vouchers cannot be combined into a single larger valued voucher. They cannot be used in combination with other offers/Discount Codes.
All rules for Maple Coins can be found in the “Help” section of the Maple Coins widget on ardawigscanada.ca when logged in.
All payment forms are subject to verification and review by Arda Wigs Canada. We reserve the right to refuse to process any transaction, sale, or shipment of orders due to suspected fraud or unauthorized/illegal activity. This is both for the protection of Arda Wigs Canada, and the protection of the customer.
What does it mean to Backorder an item?
If a regular priced item is out of stock and is not discontinued/a limited edition item, the “Add to Cart” button will change to say “Backorder” for that selected item. Payments for backorders are taken up front and place you on a priority waiting list. Backordered wigs will be shipped upon restocking of the item. Please allow the current processing time to pass before receiving a shipping notification.
Backorders are disabled during sales/promotions, unless otherwise noted.
What is an Item Request?
If a regular priced item is out of stock and is not discontinued/a limited edition item, you will also have the option to be notified by email when the item will be available again. This does not mean you are paying for the item in advance, but rather are expressing interest in the item. We will typically respond with an email saying whether the item is currently on order or not, as well as a rough estimate on it's restock time. These restock times, whether on order or not, are not guaranteed.
You will continue to receive automatic emails in regards to the item until it is in stock, where you can then place an order for it at your leisure. If you wish to discontinue receiving these updates (if the wait is too long, or you have changed your mind about the item), please contact us, and we will remove you from the notifications for this item.
Requesting an Item does not mean one is automatically reserved for you. While we do our best to add all requested items to our orders, we may not be able to include everything requested, as we determine our restocks based on interest/sale movement. If you want to reserve an item, you must place a backorder.
When will an item be restocked?
From the time an order is placed to when it arrives at our warehouse is, on average, 3 months. We do our best to provide accurate arrival dates to our customers, however, there are many factors that may impact the orders arrival date. Typically, production delays and shipping delays are the primary cause for restocks arriving later than scheduled to our warehouse.
Once a restock arrives, we inspect it for quality. This process typically takes 2-4 business days, depending on the size of the restock. Once a restock is inspected, we receive it into our stock, and will announce it's arrival on our social media and in our newsletter. Any backorders contained on this restock are pulled during inspection and sent out as soon as possible.
Due to COVID-19, our restocks are experiencing longer than average production and delivery times. We are doing our best to receive our restocks on schedule. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Shipping Partial Orders - Can I have in-stock items sent first?
Arda Wigs Canada does not ship “partial shipments”. Orders containing both in stock and backordered items will ship when all ordered items are in stock and available. In stock items are always allocated for your order, and will remain on hold until all items are available to ship. If you prefer to receive your in stock item first, please place separate orders.
What if Arda Wigs USA has it in stock?
Arda Wigs USA and Arda Wigs Canada operate as two separate companies. We are located in different countries. We do not share warehouses or stock. If an item is out of stock at one company, and is in stock at the other, we will not ship/transfer the item between companies. You must place separate orders with both stores to receive the items you want.
